If they go down, and that's by no means certain (despite their current league placing), I think we should put a £1.5m bid in for Cauley Woodrow. He's a good age at 25, with probable sell-on value. No doubt their fans would value him higher, and they may indeed sell for more, but I'm not sure it's a sellers market these days. There is going to be a real re-setting of football finance outside of the PL. Plus, I doubt he would be on "crazy" wages.

I've no idea really as to what his style of play is, but his goal scoring record stands up, and he could be a good foil for Smithy.

With all due respect Grumps Cauley when he does leave it will be to a higher end championship club for whatever the market price is these days .

It may well be for that kind of money I wouldn't necessarily disagree with that but as ever he will be able to command decent terms .

You have the same problem as we have , the brand at championship level isn't strong .
