I think our Norman Hunter was a good example of wot your saying there Hopey, he never seemed to get credit as a player. Which is a shame really.
Of the Hunter era big Jack could play a bit and of the modern era Tony Adams was very good but forced to play a certain way by Georgie stroller Graham.
