If people already receiving cancer treatment were told not to come back for more because of covid, you'd think that would make the national news instead of just the conspiracy theory nutters on Twitter. It certainly would in Scotland where the press are desperate for bad news stories.

"A spokesperson for the NHS in England said: “Data for health service usage show a strong rebound in patients coming forward for check ups and treatment. The ONS report today has not found evidence of significantly increased cancer mortality, with Covid-protected cancers hubs in place and almost 30,000 people starting cancer treatment in March."

That's from June 2020 and covers the months where the covid-deniers actually acknowledge there was a pandemic in the UK.
