Scottish National Party and independence

Those Scottish folk who crave independence and that the country should join the European Union should bear in mind that if those aims had been achieved there would have been almost f­uck all Scottish people given the anti-Covid vaccination by now.

No doubt the counter-argument would be that this is a one-off serious situation. But it tends to happen that several times in each year serious situations occur and on such occasions you can be certain that in the EU the 'powers that be' would have neither the opinion nor the fate of Scotland as a primary consideration.
