What do you make of these principles.

Jane Freeman not sacked for failing to deliver 1 million vaccines to Scots arms by the end of January....as promised.

Cherry sacked for questioning whether men in frocks should use the ladies.

I don't think that Freeman is guilty of a failure to deliver. She is a spokesperson and I don't think she had a hope in hell trying to keep to that target. As long as she stays in place she is a lightning conductor to keep Nicola out of some of the day to day stuff. Just like Swinney is taking all the flak for education and anything else. Boris is served in much the same way by Hancock at Health and Williamson at Education.
As for the reason that Cherry was sacked I think she had a view that was not party policy and she was well able to argue the rights of her position. As you and I know there are topics that people can't even agree to disagree. Nicola has the power and she used it. I think it was a mistake but perhaps the reason for Cherry's )dismissal had more to do with her leadership ambitions than the stated reason.
