Whoa there Einstein, allow me to address each point, if you can call them points, it's mostly a mish mash of ill-conceived drivel that doesn't really go anywhere or even answer any of my previous questions. So, taking your last point, I suppose what you did after ISIS-gate was to Google them retrospectively. Given you offered no academic knowledge of any subject during our exchanges, it was rather odd that you suddenly announced when ISIS were formed. I'm willing to give you the benefit of the doubt and hope your buffoonery was a charade, but that would be giving you too much credit. Lets just accept it, you had to Google it after the event and have now clung onto it, despite everything else I've written, every other question I've asked you, particularly in regards to how your life has been adversely affected, which you've ignored for some reason, you'll see that in our exchanges, I don't think there's anything I haven't addressed in response (I might be wrong so feel free to repeat any other points you'd like me to address and correct you on), you however, mindlessy gloss over everything and repeat the same cliches, most probably drawn from The Sun, Daily Mail or some equally emotionally illiterate pals down the pub/match etc.............. On the other hand, Kudos for going out and doing some research for once because you'd shown absolutely no evidence of it previously, at least you're trying to educate yourself, but as for that specific subject, I suppose it depends on where you get the information from....here's a link you might find useful https://www.theatlantic.com/ideas/ar...arqawi/577030/
We can always agree to disagree on ISIS I suppose.
As for me, yes I have a black wife and we have kids, I don't have a black mother though, I did say I was white. Being in a multiracial relationship has exposed me to certain issues the black community can face, more acutely than others perhaps who live in somewhere like Kettering lets say, where there aren't many black people, and as I stated in a previous post, I've seen people treated horrifically by the police, the judicial system, in schools and on the street. That's why I'm saying there's an issue but you and others simply gloss over it and bleat the same garbage. I can only assume it's because you don't want to acknowledge what I'm saying or can't offer an equally specific opposing view.....everything is just generalised, i.e. ''BLM are racist and anti-white''. Well they're not and I've explained why, but you ignore it. Or if I ask how BLM or taking the knee is causing an adverse affect on your lives, there is no response. I wonder why that is? Probably because you can't answer it. BLM and taking the knee aren't affecting your life, you just want to whinge. And before anyone even thinks about moaning about 'the left'.......as I've stated over and again, we live under the most comfortable Tory government in decades. There is no threat from the left. If Boris and his cronies can get away with all they have done so far, then there is no threat from the left. Corbyn was disposed of, Starmer is doing, well I don't know what Starmer is doing but he's hardly Castro.
As for my 'agenda', what the frig has it got to do with you? Do I need to announce myself as being here to challenge all and sundry? I'm here to comment, just like you, if we oppose each other, we oppose each other, a forum isn't meant to be an echo chamber of the same guff, it's a platform to exchange opinions, unfortunately in this case, you don't have any rooted in reasoned thought. Do you wish to preserve this forum so only for people who think like you can enter? It's not like I'm an Asian kid walking into The Lagoon circa 1990. Then again......
Re: Meghan Markle, I'm not sure what the point your trying to make is. ''She whinges about race but looks like a beautiful white woman''. Help me out here, are you saying she doesn't face racism as her skin is lighter? I'm genuinely bemused by that, I don't know what you're getting at. IF that's the point you're making, aren't you aware mixed race people suffer racism too? If it's not the point you're trying to make, well can you be a bit clearer please? If it IS the point you're making, you're implying people with light skin don't face racism..... but hang on I thought BLM were anti-white? You see where I'm going with that don't you? Anyway, a bit of clarity on that point would help thank you.
So anyway, I'll ask again, are you able to tell me (without lying) how BLM or taking the knee is having a negative influence on your life or the society we live in? And once again, is it stopping you from earning a wage? Has it taken food from your kids mouths? Has it started a war? Has it changed the government of the day? Has made you or any of us suffer in any way? Why does the prospect of people trying to enact change to bring justice or equality, cause you so much distress?
I'm honestly not expecting a meaningful response, probably just some rehashed hyperbole. Oh and finally, just to use your own logic against you, you stated................''another person who has the last word or can't stand a view that opposes their own! Many people don't have to voice an opinion - they vote with their feet and in this case it's with boos! I respect both views but for me the message is getting lost and if anything, it's causing resentment''..........the very point of discussion is to engage with each other, therefore SOMEONE will have the last word won't they? If I'd not responded to you, then YOU would have had the last word, so then YOU'D be the guilty party of having it. Understand? If I had the same opinion as you, and I commented last, would you have said the same thing then? Of course not.
As for causing resentment, resentment about WHAT? You're the one having those feelings, the people feeling resentment are causing the resentment. That's utterly barmy.....''You're making people angry, I don't know why, but I'm becoming angry that you're making people angry'', is the gist of it.
So yeah, answers to my questions would be gladly received, instead of the continual ignoring of them.
