It can't be 100% to anyone the only real argument is the proportion for each candidate in that sorry mess. And that discussion and argument can go on for ever with some blaming Hardy the most for the above reasons, other blaming Ardley and maybe some blaming Nolan or the sorry group of players including all those bad apples.

Either way people's opinions this far down the line are very unlikely to change. Mine certainly won't, when you are the boss you are ultimately responsible for the actions and results (lack of) of the team beneath you be it managers and players.

It's hard not to smile thinking bad just how bad that season was, and how unexpected it was. From almost heroes to absolute zeros in one season. Quite the achievement for all involved.

But now for me it's all about the Burchnall Bandwagon and how it moves forward.
