Incredible.
Never said he was blameless but ultimately the buck stops with the top man. Their have been managers sacked this season when it looked like they wouldn’t make the playoffs, one manager sacked once a playoff spot was secured. These were decisive decisions made to try and give the respective clubs the best opportunity of success.
Hardy was too busy with multiple other issues all bought on by himself to see that Ardley wasn’t going to keep us up, and didn’t pull the trigger.
THAT is on Hardy and Hardy alone. Incredible that a man of your calibre (albeit diminishing) can’t see that.
