I assume you have sought help. GPs can have a tendency to dole out anti-depressants, which can be very effective for some people, but I think if you can get some cognitive behavioural therapy/talking therapy it can make a real difference to your outlook. Trouble is, I believe referrals are taking a long time to go through at the moment and even then there is a long queue because we don't have enough of said therapists. Best of luck, anyway and I for one won't take it personally if you go shooting your mouth off again. (Any more than I do when any contributor does anyway)
