Good question on what do fans do where their manager is doing a sh1t job - to a large extent they can only work with what they have and it's often been the case that the manager solely gets the blame when the players should be taking more responsibility. Take Paul Lambert - he was given an extraordinarily long free pass by Villa fans (who are not known for their patience) because they could see how badly run the club was.

Tim Sherwood came in and transformed the way we played overnight, got us to a cup final & gave us hope but then the family silver was sold (Benteke & Delph) & he paid the price to be replaced by Remi Garde who was given no money to spend in January. The club was rotten from top to bottom, a manager can only do so much and so fans rightly in my opinion voice their feelings on where the problems truly lie. The line is crossed IMO if they harass folk in their daily life or threaten other fans who don't share their view.
