My mums popular sayings were….

“I’ll stand drop of York”…never got that at all

“I”ll go to foot of our stairs”…I guess that was to avoid swearing

“Gone there and back to see how far it is”….that used annoy hell out of me..until I started to follow millers..��..

And if she was eating sweets and I used to ask what she was eating she would say “shim shams”….I spent ages looking in gt news for something that didn’t exsist…..

On food…

Bread and pullet..I assume pull it….and sh1t with sugar on….

And my tough dad used wade in with…. “knuckle sandwich”…
