Its official, Woodrow to Luton

Although I can’t find it - I did say on here that a big 1st Division club would sign Woodrow. The only Championship club that was likely to sign him were either Luton or Blackpool - as both are in the salvage business of trying to reignite careers.
A big Championship club wouldn’t touch him.
He’s no loss to the team IMO.
And for the guys at Barnsley sifting though the stats and spread sheets - they will also have come to the conclusion that he’s no loss to the club.

Not strong enough to hold the ball up and not quick enough to beat a defender.
He can however score goals if the ball drops to his feet.
But so can I - but that doesn't make me a footballer either.

Some years ago he did well for us - and I hope he picks his game up and does well at Luton.
Although I can’t see it.
There are some good strikers at Luton.
Prediction - by Christmas he won’t be making the starting line up.

Reportedly he was on something like £10k per week at Tarn.
Some of that money can be spent better elsewhere now.
