You forgot to address that bit!
Ironic?

Well your point unsurprisingly quickly moved off at a tangent after my reply. If you re-read my post I didn't offer my opinion of the home perfomances it appears both of you have fallen into that trap. I commented on what the home perfomances produced in terms of goals and points. They aren't one or a few people's opinion, they are fact.

To remind you i simply stated that for all the passing back to the keeper, tippy tappy in our midfield and defence etc we still had managed to win 15 games at home, only lose 2, score plenty of goals, collect the 3rd highest home points total in the league and I continually read on here how wasteful we were in front of goal which strongly suggests we also created lots. People may view the style adopted last season as dull which is fine but you can't call it ineffective, as it predicted a very good points (50) return.

As for attendances we get thousands attending, large numbers paying on the day to watch games at Meadow Lane of course you are going to get a proportion of both ST and non-ST holders who don't like the style or find it dull, that's to be expected of any style adopted by the team/head coach. The latter have the easy opportunity to vote with their feet and not attend. During all my time as a Notts ST holder I witnessed non ST (and even a few ST) folks doing that on a regular basis by the empty seats around me in the main stand and to my left in the Kop.

Again the attendances have been very good during our time in NL, regardless of the styles, do we put that down to it being so effective at Meadow Lane? Or maybe the majority like to see Notts passing the ball about on the deck and creating chances and scoring goals?
