Not sure if this has been mentioned here, but this is a great idea by Notts - gift a ticket (or more) for the Yeovil game. Let’s hope this helps us break our own NL attendance record:

Yeovil: Gift a £5 ticket
Give someone a day to remember

Supporters can gift a ticket to someone less fortunate for our Football for a Fiver fixture against Yeovil Town on Saturday 19 November (kick-off 3pm).

Each year we slash prices for one of our Vanarama National League matches, with last season’s visit of Solihull Moors attracting a record-breaking National League attendance of 12,843.

And this time we’re introducing an initiative which will allow supporters to donate £5 tickets to our charitable arm, Notts County Foundation, who in turn will gift them to the many local people and families they work with.

Our chief executive Jason Turner said: “While ticket prices are considerably lower for this fixture, we are acutely aware that many people simply can’t justify paying to attend football matches - particularly given the cost of living crisis.

“Last season’s record-breaking occasion was an incredible experience for all in attendance and we want to give everyone who wants to come the opportunity to do so this time around.

“Working with our brilliant colleagues at the Foundation and our incredibly generous supporters, we know this initiative will have a huge impact on so many people and give them a day they will always remember.”

Our playing squad and football staff have set the ball rolling by donating 50 tickets. To get involved, please:

Call 0115 955 7210 and state your wish to donate one (or more) tickets
Visit our club shop during opening hours
To allow the Foundation sufficient time to distribute the tickets, the deadline for purchasing tickets to donate will be 5pm on Wednesday 16 November.

Thank you for your kindness.
