Jan23 A Good Windsor or bad widow so far ?

Dunno how we satisfy the new 2022/23 FA squad rule complexities ?
(Kinda of following on my 'many reasons' explaining transfers this season).

The recent ins, outs, loans & age juggling acts for FFP ticked all boxes.
So the current 'home-grown' players rule appears easy bypassed, even Arsenal don't have Saka listed in their Official squad of 25 as he's one of the U21 squad still.
Makes me think Gnonto is classed as U21 squad & home-grown apparently.

Still room in our 25 quota so maybe one Orgs or anyone can work on regarding who is listed as U21 squad now & which players are classed as home-grown etc as maths ain't in my bag first thing in mornings - only a cuppa.

The rules for PL squads ratio for 2022/23 season are rather silly & Orta is taking full advantage for sure of the FA current Squad rules below.

"Each squad contains no more than 17 players who do not fulfil the "Home Grown Player" (HGP) criteria. The rest of the squad (up to a total of 25 players) must be "Home Grown".
In addition to the club squad list there is an additional list of each club's registered Under-21 players who are eligible over & above the squad limit of 25 players.

A "Home-Grown Player" means a player who irrespective of nationality or age, has been registered with any club affiliated to The Football Association or the Football Association of Wales for a period (continuous or not) of three entire seasons, or 36 months, before his 21st birthday (or the end of the season during which he turns 21).

So my understanding is U21 players are eligible over & above the limit of 25 players per squad. Each player is assigned a squad number, which they wear during PL matches. For the 2022/23 campaign Under-21 players will have been born on or after 1 January 2001. Easy in it !
