Please don't take this the wrong way but you are missing the point.

It's not people like you that will deliver independence I'm afraid as you are already "a vote in the bag", but there are not enough in that category to deliver independence as has been proven over the last eight years. The only way to get well above the 50% mark in the near term is to convert NO's to YES's (eventually demographics will help but that could be more than a decade away). The point that DD is making is that of the three candidates only Kate Forbes has a chance of doing that as the "acceptable face of independence" to NO voters - Houmsa is just Nicola mark 2 without the charisma and Ash is just too bat**** crazy
