Iain Yuill’s cover has been blown. Liberal Party politics since the 1960s has been community-values based. Even when they coalesced with Cameron from 2010-2015, these values were maintained in local politics. His suggestion that libraries are just buildings, and that people can access library services via their iPads is a 21st century “let them eat cake” (I know about the arguments around the translation, thanks) statement of contempt for those unfortunate enough not to enjoy his privileged feather-bedded lifestyle.
I could punch that prick in the throat quite happily.
