Venus rotates on its axis a lot slower than Earth. It takes 243 Earth days to fully rotate on its axis, so a day on Venus is 243 Earth days. Venus orbits the Sun faster than Earth does. It takes 225 Earth days to orbit the Sun, so a year on Venus is 225 days.

So you can see from this that a day on Venus is 243 Earth days and a year on Venus is 225 Earth days. Thus a day on Venus is longer than a year.
