Whether such a figure can be justified or whether it’s drug companies playing ‘insurance’ games I honestly don’t know. I suspect the latter which is scandalous, but I remain grateful.
It just confirms how special our Health Service is and why it must remain so. This am I've once again witnessed it doing what we've, perhaps wrongly, come to almost expect it to do! For two days my wife has been in severe abdominal pain but has refused to seek medical advice (stubborn bugger that she is), however my daughter contacted 111 and, following a medical assessment, has now been admitted for a suspected acute appendicitis. So Sunak, "do not touch"!
