Lewis Pirie is another example of a scholarship contract being offered, and I suspect that Lewis sees the prospect of joining the LUFC Academy as a step up from Aberdeen, but the contract (as with those for McFadden and Godden), will be with the current owner, and will be "TUPE'd" to the new owner when the acquisition process is complete. No new professional contracts for players not currently contracted to LUFC in any manner will be signed by LUFC until the EFL approval is given and the acquisition of the remaining shareholding by the 49p-ers Enterprises investment group is complete.

If you want to dance on the head of a pin by getting all excited about a couple of Academy upgrades and the signing of another scholar who CAN'T play for the 1st team, knock yourself out. Fact remains, we are 5 days from the first pre-season game, and no new players have been signed (nor will they) and as yet we don't have any clear idea as to who of the current squad will be staying or leaving apart from the couple of loan deals that have left us all breathlessly excited.
The fact remains despite your assertions we can’t sign anyone - we have - similarly, go figure how we agreed the deal for Koch to go out on loan.
