Dreams ended, bugger. I mean it may not happen but you never know'. That is how I imagine it would go in your head.

I didn't really like Kioso going out on loan, but the continual barrage of the word 'backing' is thrown about so lazily. A lack of everything MT and we want, does not mean a lack of backing. Nuances, not black and white.
I really don't care whether you think my assessment is glass half empty or not to be honest, it is my view and i am entitled to it. Instead of your distraction tactic of talking about a lottery win, or focusing on the use of one word "backing" you are missing the real point. I think a situation where it is "out before In", isn't the best strategy to maximise our chances, it isn't forward thinking and it creates unnecessary risk into the first 6 or 7 games. It could be an indicator of a refusual to speculate at all by the board and to being overly cautious, such factors could be influencing players like Wiles and Rathbone in contract negoiations as well. Before I get accused of wanting us to bankrupt the club, I am not saying that at all, balancing the books is crucial, but that can be done by prioritising the "ins" over the "Outs". This is of cause all speculation and sorry if that comes across as pessimistic, after 50+ years of watching Rotherham, it has become my default position.
