I have no idea whether these are examples of rich, not particularly bright, young men being taken advantage of by unscrupulous wealth seeking women...genuinely aggrieved woman being threatened into withdrawing evidence by ‘supporters’ of the accused, or something else entirely. That’s why I hadn’t commented until GP decided to second guess me.

I suspect there is a bit of both rA, in no way would or I or indeed am I condoning inappropriate or criminal behaviour, but one is tempted to ask the question in some of these cases as to what the young ladies were doing getting themselves into the situations they found themselves in in some of these cases.

The Giggs case was of course very different, difficult to know what the truth is there and why the case didn't proceed.
