It's an interesting point about Smith and Hugill, as they are very similar types of player.

Both seem ineffective and almost anonymous when left alone up front, but give them some service and adopt a formation that suits their style of play then they become an absolute menace for defences.

We've seen glimpses of what Hugill can do when the rest of the team gel together around him and now we've bolstered our attacking options I feel there will be more to come. His workrate is phenomenal, just like Smiths was.

So the comparison is fair but my belief is that, as much as Smith will always be a legend to me, Hugill is a Championship version and Smith has his best performances in League One
