It means when they get the ball they don’t need to waste time and effort moving their bodies to control or pass the ball.

Yes it makes a difference having great players who can pass accurately but still impressive and a testament to the added detail Pep seems to look at.

If you look at some of the EFL games it takes some players what seems forever to get the ball under control and then adjust to try to be in a position to pass with the passing options options often in the wrong position too.
