I don't have a problem with Wrexham at all. They've been through the same drudgery and fight(s) for survival as us, and like us they seem to have finally found owners who can take the club forward and are highly likely to leave it in a better state than they found it.

Is it a media circus? Of course it is. Their owners operate in the media world and are effectively seeking to create a self-funding 'fairytale story'. Notts County provided (and are still providing) the rivalry required to make that story as dramatic and watchable as possible.

I'm sure that as Wrexham's owners learned for themselves how difficult it is to run a football club even with abundant resources, they developed an immense appreciation of what the Reedtz brothers and Jason Turner were achieving with far fewer resources. When Ryan Reynolds wished us well in the play-offs and congratulated us on our Wembley win, yes of course it was a message designed for public consumption, but I also believe he genuinely meant it.

As for arrogance, I agree it doesn't come from the owners but I'm sure there will be whiffs of it within the Wrexham organisation because some players/people are like that - especially the hangers on. I remember some very arrogant remarks being made by some Notts County bods when they thought the Munto thing was real, so we shouldn't be casting the first stone.

Nobody has benefited more than us from the reflected glory and attention that has come from Wrexham's 'story' and long may it continue.
