Just raising a question for discussion (no criticism or moaning evident or implied!)
In view of Offord's conversion to a "N'Golo Kante " role and the fact that Thomas is managing to stay fit are Austerfield and Leigh the right kind of midfielders? Both talk about operating from deep and neither claim to be particularly creative. In view of what we already have, it could be argued (until Tabs gets back) that being without creativity meant we should have looked for one midfielder to fit the bill.
It could, of course be said that neither have had a chance to prove themselves but the question is not about how good they are but whether the type of player they claimed to be in their initial interviews are the kind of players we needed.
I am concerned that they may find they are not used very frequently.
