That is the verdict of football finance and sports law experts after new “associated party transactions” (APT) rules were clarified this week, making it tougher for clubs like Newcastle and Manchester City to sign deals with affiliated firms.

Clubs will now face sanctions if they are found guilty of inflating sponsorship deals with associated companies, with punishments set by an independent commission.

The rules don't state anything about large sponsorship deals from [B]non-associated parties[B]

There are plenty of private sector business groups, who would benefit exponentially in the GCC by being associated with NUFC.

So, it''s not all doom and gloom. Also, we have to be of the mind, that no matter what the EPL and fraudies try to do to stop us becoming established as a dominant EPL club on a par with City it won't work. It might take a little longer but this project will be a success. We will win the Premier League and we will win the Champions League.

Patience and positivity lads. Persistence beats resistance 100% of the time.
