Mancs draw, then win and lose; Leeds are, well, totally Leedsy; Stockport show how this is supposed to work; Bromley have 100% football league record.

Sniffer99 (OxOO) was waaaay ahead of everyone else, picking up nine points from the twenty-four available using three of the four games, including the otherwise unfancied draw in the Community Shield. He certainly nose how to play this game.

It's a bit sad when one of the Roboposters, in this case Johnny_Default (OOxx) - who always picks 99-99 draws - outscores all bar one of the active posters. Remember kids, every game starts as a draw, so you'll always be right at some point. It's just a case of whether it lasts long enough to then end that way.

Sniffer is obviously top, JD is in second, then there's the rest of us, including five who failed to trouble the PL scoring committee.

A few more may join next week when the top division properly kicks off. Or they may not.

There were two draws, so Johnny_Default starts on 6 points. The strike rules only begin to apply next week.

The results

(Community Shield) Manchester United v Manchester City (1-1)
(C) Leeds v Pompey (3-3)
(L1) Stockport v Cambridge (2-0)
(L2) Harrogate v Bromley (0-2)

The next fixtures are out as a separate thread.

All the best! Stay safe!
