In AFC Wimbledon it seems like we have another team similar to Gillingham and Port Vale in which they will be robust, physical and sit in a mid to low block and look to hit us on the counter attack. A league two team that can do the basics of league two well. We have had two games at home that have been similar previously, so let’s hope we have learned from those games and can find away to unlock their defence. We need the win at home to back up what have been some good points picked up on the road in the past few weeks.

The key for me is how Jatta wins the aerial battle with their centre backs. Against Port Vale their 22 Jesse Debrah won many of the 1v1 battles in the air that day and if we have similar against Wimbledon then for me if it’s not working with Jatta in the box on his own we should be prepared to mix it up a bit and try other ways to unlock them. This is where the likes of Crowley, McGoldrick and others can play a part if available.
