Swansea v Millwall, Saturday Oct 26, 3pm
Are things as bad as they seem, well yes when you know the Bluebirds are only two points behind you in the table!
Seriously though we have to start scoring goals soon.
The margin between success and failure is small.
If we’d scored more goals we’d be up near the top by now. If we continue with more narrow defeats and draws there’s only one outcome.
Onto our first home game in three weeks and it’s the Lions of Millwall, fresh from their 1-0 home win against Rooney’s Plymouth on Wednesday night and a 1-1 home draw with Derby last Saturday, our out on loan player Jerry Yates scoring for Derby.
Millwall haven’t won in their five games away from home this season, scoring four goals and conceding six in their three draws and two defeats.
Swans are unbeaten in their five home games, scoring six goals and conceding two in their two wins and three draws.
Neil Harris’s side had the better of us in our final fixture at home last season, winning by the odd goal after Grimes had missed a penalty and Yates was sent off together with their centre-back for an off the ball clash.
Hopefully our goal drought will come to an end and we’ll get back to winning ways.
