Former coach of China's national football team in prison for bribery.

Former coach of the Chinese men's national football team has received a 20 years
prison sentence for bribery.
Li Tie, who once played in the English Premier League as a midfielder for Everton FC
found guilty of " Leveraging his Positions " as head coach of the National football &
National selection team to receive bribes of more than 50m Yuan [about 7m$]
by a court.
Li Tie coached the team between January 2020 & December 2021, he was also
charged with taking bribes between 2015 & 2019, when he worked for local football
clubs.
Li Tie played for Everton FC 2002-2006, & Sheffield United 2006-2008.

The president of the Chinese Football Association [CFA] Chen Xuyuan was also
imprisoned for bribery, to which he received a sentence, to life in prison for bribery.

One thing, the Chinese don't mess about with prison sentences.
