It is a shame that Queens have been forced into issuing a statement asking supporters not to stoop to using foul and abusive language when addressing their concerns, - and of course in this day and age, there is no place for abusive behaviour.

That being said, - I do have great sympathy for supporters who have spent hard earned money and travelled many hours to watch their club, - only for the team not to play to their strengths or ability, .............. and that leaves a quandary, - how should supporters express themselves?

I am certainly fed up watching QOS players not giving their all, - or passing across the pitch in an almost meaningless fashion, - while they are 1 - 0 down, - and that would 'appear' to be Mr Murphy's strategy, - which is unappealing to say the least.

Is it better for frustrated supporters to express their disgust, - or simply not to turn up at all? That's the quandary that the cub needs to address, - because it's most definitely the fact that people are not having a go at players who are giving 100%, - they are expressing their annoyance at a group of players who on paper should 'walk' this league, - but who 'appear' to be giving about 65% and following a pattern of negative football which is boring to watch.

If Mr Murphy has no intention of amending his ways and playing positive football, - then please let me know, as I have a hundred things I'd rather do than watch talented players playing square balls across a back four while losing 1-0. I'm sure I speak for the majority who go along to Palmerston, - that that is not why they loyally return week after week.

Something's got to change, - but simply publicly calling out the hecklers is not the answer. Once the 'accused' has calmed down, - ask him (or her) to point out what he or she expects from the team, - and it might be exactly what the other 985 souls actually want!
