Orwellian Britain is alive and flourishing and some people either are not aware of it or simply don't give a pfhuck.

I think Orwell was trying to warn us of greater dangers to our freedom than the Old Bill trying to stop a few halfwits and crackheads banging a drum in the middle of Manchester and trying to put Barclay's windows in.
