Last time I stand up for foster on this forum but here goes.

We are set up wrong for any forward to have chances in games ( not just foster ) the manager asks him to run between the back 4 of the opposition and press on his own , he also asks him to run channenn lm a between full backs and centre backs for imo lost causes a lot of the time because we either don??t get players to him to take advantage of his hard work or we slow the game down until the team gets up to him in which case the opposition have 9 behind the ball.
It??s just how Parker plays I??m afraid - I??d completely agree with you an Bt if we made 6-7 chances a game for Foster where he??s going iono them to score - he often gets 1,chance or half chance and he??s crap if he misses it .

I??m unsure with players if we have the capability to play how we all like to see - last premiership season we had a gung ho style and we got murders every week - Imo Parker??s style doesn??t suit this league it??s slow and limits chances in games - to get improvement we??d need a different approach from the manager - formation - some help for foster allowing him to stay central and more creativity from elsewhere.

It??s just observation can??t see how we slag Foater only when he gives everything for the team in the wrong positions on no chances for him.
I'm very much in agreement Army. Never a ball over the top. Slow build up so we are always trying to get through a packed defence. No wingers who can beat a man on the outside and put in a good cross. If Foster were missing chances galore the criticism he gets would be justfied but he's not.
