The police have a duty to keep the public safe. They are there to protect life and property. In this case they have made, with absolutely no doubt, the correct decision.

Politicians should keep far away from this. It is a matter for police not some politician.

Imagine if they allow Tel Aviv supporters to attend and there was serious disorder which caused a single death or serious injury to anyone. I think there would be many who would suggest the police should have done more to stop such an incident. If a family member or friend, not involved in any protest etc. but were just attending the game ended up in hospital or worse, never returned home, we know who would be shouting the loudest. And in that case rightly so perhaps.

Let the police, police and let the politicians do what they do best, which, thinking about it, is probably not very much.
