    Oh dear Toady

He was man of the match - f ucking everywhere today

Some of the negative s hit on this thread before a ball is kicked and during the game is just embarrassing rubbish. Someone even suggesting it's a result if we lose so that Allardyce goes. Cracking support - well done.

carroll looked like he was pottering around, and yet positioned himself well enough to be, more often than not, first to the ball. he held the ball up well, and played his team mates in well.

i bite my lip on taylor, he gave it his all today.

jarvis still not doing it for me... maybe i just have a set on him i can't get passed.

adrian was excellent. we are a little spoilt with the options between the sticks.

    cole

mccartney was in the thick of it, and didn't let us down.

tomkins a yard slower than normal, but that will come back with match fitness.

We showed guts today. Defenders diving in front of the ball. Good goal keeping.

That's the way to do it!

No true WHUFC supporter would ever want us to lose just so Sam gets the boot. He alone has been responsible for his shocking team selections and formations throughout the season and the buck has to stop with him.

Am I gonna get behind him?

Hell no. He needs to leave pronto.

His brand of footie has never been what we at West Ham are about.

toddie's not the only one, harry. yes, we have egg on our faces today, but more often than not, the criticism has been justified.

but not concerned with that now... i'm more excited than i should be for 4:20am

    Superirons: I agree mate

Harry: It's not surprising someone might be a little disappointed Taylor was in the starting line-up because he's been shocking for us. He was brilliant today but it's been the exception rather than the rule so it's hardly 'embarrassing' as you've said to Toady and Castiron.

Lets keep things in perspective, this result hasn't proved Allardyce and Taylor are the bee's knees. He still plays sh1t football, has constructed a lop-sided squad and gets the team playing worryingly deep as soon as we get a lead.

Having said that it was good to see Carroll, let's hope that he can last the season.
