    R.I.P. Tony Hately

Former Notts County, Aston Villa, Chelsea and Liverpool striker Tony Hately died yesterday morning aged 72. Chelsea and Liverpool both paid then club record fees of 100,000 pounds for him. He was a typical old fashioned centre forward and a great header of the ball.

Legend at Notts. I personally never saw him play, but obviously know about him. Local paper gave a p*ss poor write up about him passing away, can't help but think if he had played for Rushcliffe Rovers across the river, then there would've been a 28 page pull out!
