Don't appeal as Carrol clearly intended to hit him and intent means red card.
Will get further match if appeal.

Your right John, don't know what came over me![]()
Wheres Hightec when you need him, nice little montage of his theatrics posted on the net, total humiliation, should redress the balance.
So far I can count on one hand those that have said that it was a red.
Goodness knows what they are seeing??
95% of opinion have said its a yellow.
If that's a red, then there'd be half a dozen reds every game. That sh1t is going on every time a ball comes into the box. - view external link
when i looked at it first,i said to myself its a free kick for us.so andy's swing should not come into play, but as we did'nt get a free kick,it can only be a yellow.

give the little girl some advice on his acting via his twitter account - view external link
Webb apparently took advice from the linesman before showing the red.
The linesman was Scott Ledger, the same man that deemed Danny Rose's tackle against City was worthy of a red when he clearly played the ball. Amusing granted as it was Spurs, but the FA who don't have our sense of humour realised it was a ridiculous decision and rescinded it.
Which is why an appeal stands no chance as to decide an official is inept two weeks running will be too much of a slur on him, even if he is inept.
So don't blame Webb, blame Scott Ledger. Webb had a good game.
Flores was all over Carroll's back with arms around his neck. Should have been a WestHam free kick as our player's body movement was simply a spinning motion to get Flores of his back. Therefore any contact with a flailing arm was not Carroll's intent or fault. Complete disgrace if the red is not rescinded.
so when does the appeal take place?
I see there are still a lot of absolute numptys posting here.
Carroll gets up and attempts to spread his arms in a declaration of "where's my free kick" he does not in any way shape or form react to Flores(who he cannot even see at this point) ffs :/
