Sueing someone didn't stop the Blunts. Some doddery old f#ck decided that Tevez was so important that he alone kept us up. You could argue with justification that now we rely even more on just one man. So if we go down sue Swansea. 25m then must be double that now.
But seriously, go down that route and where will it end ?
The FA should just have the cojones and back the appeal not Webb's report.
But I won't be holding my breath tomorrow.

from BBc Garth Crookes team of the week, he had tomkind and Carroll in his side
re Carroll
"engaging in a minor altercation with Chico Flores. The incident resulted in the West Ham striker getting his marching orders from referee Howard Webb. It just goes to show that even the very best referees get it wrong sometimes."
nobody thinks it was a red card !

Cheers Swearry and Oz, was hoping my little gem would not go unnoticed.![]()
I think we will hear the verdict tomorrow afternoon. It's been claimed that Webb has looked at the incident again and is standing by his original dicision.
So i now think it is highly unlikely it will be recinded.![]()
does anyone know if the frivoulous appeal issue still applies as i heard something that they had stopped that this season and players would not get the extra game ban, hope this is true(another stupid fa rule as every club should have a right to appeal without getting the ban extended)also does anyone think the fa should be able to cut the length of the ban if they believe a)it should be a red card however doesnt warrant a 3 game ban maybe reducing it to 2 /1 however also be able to increase it if it warrants it? only suggestion and points to discuss?
Of course they should rescind the one extra match ban for their interpretation of a frivolous appeal. Its only there to make people think twice about showing just how useless some refs are.
