Full disclosure here, no West Ham fan (Dundee United supporter) but just finished an article on how to get rid of diving so thought given what happened to you over the weekend you might agree or have your own ideas on how to stop it.

Would love to get your thoughts on here or in the comment box. Wont post on here again as I know the rules. Cheers.

Deduct the offending players club points rather than fine them. Lets see how quick the managers stop it when their jobs could be at stake. Its all very well the managers saying in the press conferences that they comdemn diving, but how many really try and stop it.
#4 of the #5 things the FA needs to do is fine the clubs. Because the clubs are doing phuck all on this right now.Originally Posted by scimitar

Thats why I say deduct points. If losing points means the difference between finishing say 8th and 10th that is a £1 million plus gap in prize money. And if a team goes down thanks to divers, then too bad.
I'd say you have to be realistic, what does a team have to do right now to get a points deduction? Go into administration? Crowd Violence?Originally Posted by scimitar
And you're suggesting that diving be put into that category?
Offenders should be banned and retrospective punishments should be brought in.
They should be crucified upside down then taken down while still alive and have their entrails removed and burned in front of them.
