    Agree that Nolan is a much better player when Carroll is also playing, but how ridiculous is it that a Premier League footballer has to rely on his mate playing in order to look anything like the standard of the division? :/

    Carroll or not, Nolan will start on Saturday.

    Oh well.

    I'm staying positive for this one...

    - Defence back to its best
    - Hoping that one (or more) of the newbies will spring us a pleasant surprise
    - Yes Nolan isn't half the player without Carroll but at the very least... you'd like to think that his state of mind will be much better now and if the team can supply some ammo ???
    - Our young goalie is playing out of his skin
    - ...and so is Nobes.
    - General optimism and confidence appears to have returned (against the plastics and the Taffs at least!!!)
