Then prepare for our normal nailbiting, heart palpitating last 5 mins with Villa going close every 30 seconds and the commentator going up 3 octaves with excitement while I expire by the side of the radio...Thats how we normally do wins by the odd goal.

That said, I would take that panic and stress in a heartbeat if it means a win!!
problem is after the 90 plus minutes you tend to age about 2 years!
So its the coffin lid i been knocking on. And heres me thinking it was a door.

2-2for me

I'm going for a lucky 3-2 win for our boys!
We will come out up for it this week, with carrollgate providing the spark!

Can't see there being many goals as neither side will be set up to attack. Villa attack on the break and we'll be set up not to concede. Stalemate.

A boring, frustrating 1-0 to them or a majestic 0-1 to us; haven't made me mind up yet. It all depends on if BFS picks Morrison and whether he has managed to motivate him (or more likely have shackled him, with talk of all his defensive responsibilities and no shooting from outside the box).

Whatever happens it'll be a long torturous game

Pretty interesting game.

i don't think villa are any good, so will we beat them?
Was our victory against swansea a good performance or did we beat a team that had major internal problems with a disinterested manager?
Will we try and win or bore a draw?
Will Adrian keep up the decent form or will this be the beginning of a downward spiral?
Will Cole be raring to go following the immense confidence shown in him by Allardyce and Gold this week?
Will nolan carry on scoring or will he return to normal?
Will morrison play or have we seen his last performance in a west ham shirt?

Villa a poor team and probably one of our best chances to get an away win...will we?

Been to this fixture many times over the years so probably 1-0 to villa, but fingers crossed we take them 0-1. Personally I think 0-0 against this poor villa team would be a lost opportunity.

Downing & Ravel given a bit of freedom. Carlty defends as much as Carroll does.

ye jest sir

is this the same Carlty that continually puts us on the backfoot because of his continual ball giveaway in the final 3rd?

and then jogs back quite casually to see if he might be needed in defence

Carroll covers the pitch in 1 halfmore than Carlty does in 2.

Ginger's only happy when we lose. He thinks it vindicates his existence.
