Some great additions from Hungary, Rapid and Davecov. This is perhaps the most variation there's been in ratings!

The only constant though, is Eustace getting an 8, and also being labelled the best performer alongside Buxton and Keogh. Angry, I don't think you can win this one mate! Even if his performance warranted a 7 in terms of his general play, he scored the only goal of the game, which certainly counts for a lot. An 8 is warranted.

Myself and Rapid feel Hughes played a decent enough game, yet others completely disagree. I thought his set pieces were good, and our only fluid football in the first half came from him.

Ward is an interesting one. He did give the ball away three times in quick succession, but our first three corners/crosses came from his good work down the right. I stick by rating, I thought overall, he had a positive impact.

I've never come across anyone that sees the game as closely as I do D

I don't disagree at all D_D. However, I would tinker at the edges. Following the loss of 2 goals against Yeovil and 3 at Brum, this was a game when our defence needed to be bomb-proof. And it was.
    Grant 9
We have seen a major step up from Grant; not so much in what saves he has made, but in terms of his psychology. He now has attitude; he came for crosses last night and he knew with certainty that he was going to get them. He bred confidence. And he slowed the game second half by not releasing the ball quickly when the fans behind the goal were urging him to do so. Think of an outside toilet at a country pub. Well, Grant was the stripped, oak door, with iron-work hinges but no handle.
    Wisdom 8
Think of a doorman at a popular late-night city-centre venue. He was smart, courteous, yet robust and firm. He stayed close to his man and didn't allow anybody to stray behind the line first half. He did allow a couple of very late forays towards the end of the game but ov

He's carrying Eustace's tool-bag at the moment but it won't be long before he's unpacking his own spirit-level.
