i'll let you off for your comments about ward

out of interest where abouts do you sit at home games? I wonder if it's something to do with a similar view...

ella - any idea of ward's pass completion rate last night? I didn't tape the match otherwise I'd happily go back to look.
Ward's Pass Completion rate was not good Rapid. You are spot on about Ward's first 3 "passes" going astray. From my re-collection he only completed one successful pass out of 5 attempts in the 42 minutes he was on the park but he did win corners and put in 3 crosses

Buxton & Grant share the MOTM spoils for me. Don't agree with the Hughes & Ward downers, thought they both played very well - Ward caused problems and earned great positions that otherwise would have seen counter attacks against us. And Will just calms everything in the middle, that extra second on the ball keep posession for us whjere I think others would have pannicked and got caught out.

Eustace was poor, Bamford off the boil, otherwise a great team performance.

    I'll be controversial here.

I didn't think we were that good. I was also pleasantly disappointed in QPR.

We defended very well, not just the back four but as a team, Grant was superb.
We closed QPR down, tackled well, got the headers in.

    All very good.

But going forward, we were poor. The basic ability to pass to a player wearing the same coloured shirt in the oppositions half seemed beyond both sides, especially second half. Lots of running, little end product.

Great win, gargantuan effort. Big three points against the favourites for promotion at the start of the season, full credit for all of that. But I'm afraid I can't get quite as excited over the performance as everybody else seems to be. I can understand the plaudits for defending, especially after the last few games, but not for much else to be honest.

Both insightful and poetic Ella, you silver-tongued ******

    Rapid, loving the bromance

I sit in the Toyota West, on the half way line, near the tunnel! That's all you're getting though, I'm not easy where do you sit?

That goes for everyone, it'd be great to put a location to the perspectives!
