    Striker required 2 players, Chief. Reckon you might be confusing it with the 1 player variant of Stroker - most popular with teenagers, it normally comprised just one period of less than 5 minutes, you were your own manager so could pull yourself off whenever you liked and each game was always played to a finish..

    Great memories, and even 30+ years later, I could still remember the mini-munchman music exactly!

    As for gaming, I started on a Spectrum + 48k with Jet Set Willy, Enduro Racer, Yie Ar Kung Fu and Daley Thompson's Decathlon, to remember a few!

    Other than the mighty Pong console, our first foray into home gaming / computing was a BBC Model B - seem to recall spending an inordinate amount of time both playing Defender and waiting for it to load..
