    O/T Filth/Edinburgh

Watched Filth last night for the first time, thought it was pretty good but might need another watch to make my mind up.

The one thing I was thinking was how great Edinburgh looked in it, the only reason they don't make many films here must be the lack of film industry in the city. We should be looking to capitalise on the Festival because the surroundings added an awful lot to the film.

Having said that I nearly had a heart attack when the guy died in the Grassmarket & everyone crowding round was Scottish, would never happen

Did you see the fitba results on the TV screen just before the boy died?

The director is a Don's fan.

Looks to me like he gets some of his inner self out in his films...

Having said that, I've never read the book so I'm not sure how faithful the film was to it.

Edinburgh always looks good on film and its actually on film loads Mook.

A lot of Filth was filmed in Glasgow and some in London as was Trainspotting.

Aye, I was wondering were that was because it definitely wasn't anywhere in Edinburgh.

The bits in the Old & New Town looked great.
