None of our players are any good, bet the only one who was and maybe could of scored in the last three 0-0 draws is on loan to f###ing Oxford, sort it out Barker otherwise we're going down.

3 weeks ago our manager said he would have a Summer clear out because the players weren't good enough . At the time I posted that I thought this was a odd way to motivate the team given we were stuck with what we have until the end of the season .
After last night he is at it again... This time telling the world that not many of he current players will be here next year, that 13 are out of contract and are playing for their jobs ,and reminding fans that we dont't have quality players...
Honesty is ok,but would you bust a gut to keep Pompey in this league if your boss was saying you had no future at Fratton Park .
I am not in favour of dumping Barker but ...his motivation technique seems odd !

The pressure on an inexperienced manager and his underperforming players to keep up a club that can pull in 17000+ is obviously too much for them.
It will be interesting to see how they play once the threat of relegation has gone.
watching us against chesterfield, you would have to say we do have enough quality for this league, only a couple of decent saves stopped us winning,do you not think its the inconsistency in players performances from one game to the next,i don't know, very frustrating to say the least, just like to get to 52pts,3wins and a draw out of last ten, then let him get what he wants in summer,by the way them lads should be playing their hearts out for pompey, some of them don't realise how lucky they are to be playing pro football, anyway roll on Saturday and 0-0 at Fleetwood,i would take a point from there
We have plenty of players in the squad with experience of getting promoted out of this division (or playing at a higher level) so Barker's excuse that he has a terrible squad is rubbish.
Perhaps if his tactics weren't so one-dimensional and he worked out where the goal is then we wouldn't be in this mess. His record is now worse than Whittingham's and the football is incredibly boring.
