He's a good ref, and he'll do for me!

His average is roughly three yellows per game and I don't recall any bad refereeing incidents when he reffed our game against Gillingham, and the same scoreline wouldn't go amiss either!

p.s. If he can tolerate Joey Barton, he can tolerate anyone!

    Have a good game Andy!

He was shocking today, fell for every trick in the book, and some not in the book too.
BUT can anyone tell be the ruling on back passes? Early on in the first half, there was a 35 yard back pass that the keeper picked up, surely this isn't legal is it?

I also thought a blatant push in the back on Wes Thomas in the box was illegal too but he missed that too, the guy was a joke !

Nobody above has said we lost cos of the ref.

We lost because we played too much long ball in the first half with the midfield sitting to deep and leaving the strikers isolated and in the second half the players didn't do as instructed by Evans and take advantage of the extra man.

However it is also fair to say the ref got key decisions wrong at critical time. the push on thomas should have been a penalty. If that goes in its a different game - a pen might even have meant a red card.. Then there was the free kick before their goal, another push on thomas and several on revell. Not to mention the amount of dives that he never booked - and I say dives cos the way their players went down if they weren't free kicks they must be dives. Christ the idiot couldn't get his kit right in the first half.
