    It seems very much in the same vein as when we appointed Nigel Clough an appointment based ons entiment and appesing the fans rather than based on who might be the best manager fort eh club.

    Now before the Clough afficionados get on my back, I'll acknowledge the job done by Clough at Derby but I'd have thought that Pearce will have to do more than make Forest a stable midtable championship side if he is to last more than a season!
