    D_D's player ratings vs. Boro

Brief ones today as I'm typing on a tablet...

Grant 7- had very little to do, was commanding when we were defending corners and could do very little about the goal

Wisdom 5- defensively okay, but poor passing and he offered little support going forward.

Keogh 5- seemed sluggish and flat footed on their goal, also took himself out the game first half when Boro attacked

Buxton 7- Steady and did no wrong, bar missing a chance to win it back post

Forsyth 6- defended well enough vs. Adomah and Ledesma, but passed the ball poorly in parts

Thorne 7- he looked accomplished and continues to impress

Hendrick 6- a very good first half but anonymous second half. He seemed to run out of energy

Bryson 6- didn't tick today after a promising start. Like Hendrick, he looked tired.

Russell 5- did okay first half, his directness was a threat. Still, final ball let him down and he was poor second half

Bamford 4- nothing came off for the lad, who really did try today. He was however ineffective a

not saying he was to blame for yesterdays loss but I've just about had it with sammon. he's ****ing useless unless we're wining a game and he gets the 5 minute cameo to chase lost causes.

as for bamford, I think he's one of the most inconsistent footballers I've ever seen play for the rams. when he's on song he's unplayable. when he's bad he's real bad. that lad can have some proper stinkers. if he wants to make it to the premier league he's got to play more consistently. it's like playing with 10 men.

Okay you did not give Wisdom and Bamford 1/10 but at least you gave them poor scores.
Wisdom needs to buck his ideas up, he was is off prem class and has no chance of getting in Liverpools team. Bamford as well, no chance of getting in Chelsea's team and you are 100% correct Rapid, too inconsistent...
We needed Hughes yesterday against a very average Boro team, Dawkins as well... Russell was incapable of beating his man.
Never been a fan of Forsyth but he is fast becoming a consistent performer and defensively I thought he was good yesterday.
We need to hit the playoffs with some momentum, come on Steve we are watching.

wisdom's been very poor for quite some time now. he played like a god in his first 20 or so games, after that his distributions been woeful.

I don't want to be too negative after all that though! lets get this out of our system and sort it out for the play offs. that's what matters.

I agree about hughes. we need his controlling influence in the team.

Yh hughes in for hendrick next game. Hendrick had that one good game and has been average or poor otherwise.

No one pushing Wisdom. Needs dropping for a few games. We should use these few games now to try a get others match fit and try some plan B's in-case we get a key injury between now and end of season.

Bamford needs some strong words too. Far too greedy at times.

One thing I thinkw e overlook is that Wisdom and bamford hendrick and indeed Hughes are still young players learning the game, they will have off dyas and at the moemnt we have noone to replace them.

Agree about sammon, how the hell Wigan managed to get double what they apid for him i'll never no, at A?600K he would A?have been a so so buy at over A?1 million he is pants. I can't see him being here next season whichever league we are in.

Another game where we never got going but still looked comfortable and then lost out.
